Introduction to

Lebond

Lebond Watches is a Barcelona-based independent watchmaker that fuses architectural artistry with Swiss horological craftsmanship. Founded by architect Asier Mateo, the brand collaborates with esteemed architects to create timepieces that are both functional instruments and sculptural art objects .

The brand’s debut model, the Siza, was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Álvaro Siza. Inspired by his 1966 Leça Swimming Pool project, the watch features a square titanium Grade 5 case with a micro-sanded matte finish and anti-fingerprint coating. The dial is lacquered matte light beige (RAL 9001), with volume-printed numerals and markers, and lacquered matte black hands. The watch is powered by a Swiss ETA 2892-A2 automatic movement, offering a 50-hour power reserve. A sapphire crystal case back reveals the movement and bears Siza’s signature, adding a personal touch to each timepiece .

Following the Siza, Lebond introduced the Souto Moura, designed by another Pritzker Prize laureate, Eduardo Souto de Moura. This model features a titanium case, lacquered matte grey dial, and black Nappa leather strap. It also houses the ETA 2892-A2 movement and showcases Souto de Moura’s signature on the sapphire crystal case back .

Lebond’s timepieces are Swiss-made, emphasizing quality and precision. The brand’s headquarters, known as Lebond House, is located in Barcelona and serves as a serene and inspiring workplace designed by the Lebond team .

In Australia, Lebond Watches are available through Certified Horology, the official distributor for the Asia-Pacific region .
